I have a 6 year old that is obsessed with Mario, and let's face it, mommy cannot talk ALL the time, or entertain ALL the time, so sometimes crayons are the next best thing... I found this online and was a little bit skeptical and there are a lot of mixed reviews are Mario coloring books, however, this one had decent reviews and the book itself was better than I imagined. I would recommend crayons or colored pencils, the pages are not thick, but the images are nice. My son was very happy, and I have been really enjoying the quiet time.

Great coloring book. Kids love it. I was please with it’s price and quality. I would definitely recommend this product.

I have a copy of Claverol's photo collection in a book written in Catalan and entitled "Escrit amb Llum" ("written with light.") Of all the many books I have related to Andorra and the time I spent there, this is my favourite. I am basing my rating of this edition on the nature of the earlier work. One of the better ways to appreciate these images is to first study some of the events surrounding Andorra from about the year 1920 or so, and particularly the role of Andorra during the Spanish Civil War. In the earlier Escrit Amb Llum edition, there is a photo of the Nationalist troops at the frontier of Andorra, and what is curious about that image is that it is reversed. It will be interesting to see if that was corrected in this later edition. Claverol is probably the most important photographer in Andorra's history, certainly for images prior to 1960. The photos in this book were taken with a Linhof Technika 9X12 and anyone who has toted a camera of that size can appreciate the efforts.

I'm surprised to see all the five-star reviews for this book. It's a good introduction, and the color photos are helpful, but it is severely lacking in detail compared to the Lonely Planet Tanzania guide. To give you an idea of the differences, I breezed through the entire Insight Guides book in one evening, but it took me a day and a half to get through the Lonely Planet book. I also feel like this book devotes too many pages to topics like history and culture rather than what travelers need to know. I understand those are interesting to learn about, but they won't help you plan your trip, which, after all, is the whole point of a travel guide

This was a bit more history vs actual suggestions. Glad I read it though. Does give lists of accommodations, but doesn't really make suggestions or opinions on what is better.

Bought for a friend going to Tanzania this summer. She said it was helpful.

I gave this book 2 stars because I feel as though to maybe a small percentage of people this book would prove useful. I purchased this title with the expectation of discovering some in depth strategies for regaining confidence through the use of the word "no," as the title suggests. I was hoping to find some techniques for building confidence, becoming emotionally aware, reading personality traits, managing ego's, or any general psychological cognition. However, the book reads almost like an infomercial ("in the next section you will learn new ways of saying 'no'...so please grab a refreshing beverage and enjoy") with very, very superficial discussions of the vapid subject material. If you're a normal person with any level of self-confidence whatsoever, I can almost guarantee you won't take away anything new from this book. On the other hand, if you're a beta-male type person, and often find yourself cowering in fear from any sort of conflict, then yes, you may want to consider this book. On a closing note, judging by how this book was hastily written with little or no research actually done on the subject matter, I would also recommend avoiding other titles by this author as well.

I'm rating this a 4 because I think the intended audience for this book could find it useful. I already LOVE saying no! The problem is the violent aggression I receive from the person who received that no. This book isn't hard hitting enough to address that. It's primarily focused on people requesting your time and energy to do something, usually when nothing is really on the line. "Hey bud, can you help me move my couch?" "Hey I need a ride to the airport, can you give me a ride?" If you struggle with replying "no, I have to do my taxes" or "no, I'm actually bleeding to death and need to go seek immediate medical advice," in order to please people, you will love this book. I'm more in the category of "I think we should use this totally wrong tool for open heart surgery and experiment, and if you say no, I'm escalating to management who has this same desire to always say yes and I'm tell them that you have a fixed mindset in hopes they end your career." If you are like me, this book will do you no good. This is a book about saying soft no's to soft inquiries, when nothing is on the line. I realized this when I took the "Pop Quiz: Are you a people pleaser" and got the lowest possible score (15 / 75), which quite literally means this book is inapplicable to me.So, lets say you are like me and bought this book! Chances are you can read it like I did in an hour and a half. It's a light, casual read that will force you to empathize with others who do have this affliction. In essence, you can still get something out of it by understanding how this advice could help those around you.So, why am I taking a star off? This isn't really "the art" of saying no. Artistry is something that requires mastery. Here I am, well on my path as a journeyman of being a no man, looking for a master to follow to further learn the art. I need a 400 level course, not a 99. Basically, I think the title is misleading. I would equate it to naming an entry level algebra class to "the art of doing barely basic math, just good enough." It just doesn't cut it.I bought this book to follow up on soft no's from a book called Never Split the Difference which is about tactics from an FBI (ya one of those click-bait style books) hostage negotiation. He suggests rarely using No directly, but responding with targeting questions that start with "what" or "how" that will leave it up to the other side to reason a logical no.

This is the easiest book I've ever read.It's definitely helpful, the most important thing is to change the way you think about everything.Instead of feeling guilt over not helping someone, change your entire viewpoint on how valuable your own time is and what you want to do.Don't yield to others, yield to yourself 1st and then lthers opinions come after.Overall the book is easy to read, quick, and it helps.It's not gonna change your mindset, its not gonna make you assertive, but it will give you the examples and the tools to change your mindset

I don't have the hardest time saying no but this book did help me find ways to say no without using the word "no" and also how to decline people with grace. It really is more for people pleasers and people who have a really difficult time saying no, but it is also helpful for the average person

Hey give up your plans for working for the day or whatever, so you can watch my child. NO is my new answer. If I want to do something I do, if not, I say NO !!! No apologies necessary; I was raised by a very strict father to whom you had better explain for a half an hour WHY you wanted to do something. No more explanations to folks for me; and no more apologies if you don't want to do something then say NO and offer up nothing else that the other person can throw in your face later. JUST SAY NO and move on. It's much easier than you could ever imagine! Buy this book! You will be so much happier!

Excellent book to read

This book is a must! if you are interested in a practical approach to what the law and justice system can do for animal rights that is a critical book. I can say is iconic. You can feel, you can think you can do a lot of things about animal consideration but at least are the Court and the Judges who put in their right place to the people hasn't rationality or empathy enough to respect animals: Animal rights the last border!!!

I just got the "present" that I ordered for myself the other day. This is a great great Animal Law book that I found on Amazon.com. Sometimes when you see five stars on the review, you have to wonder whether their Mother or Sister wrote the review, but no, honestly, once I started to go through this book yesterday...and yes, I have already started reading it page by page in case you're wondering... well this book is fantastic. When they said that this author really knew his "stuff"... no lie...he really has covered everything that there is to cover. This is a SUPERLATIVE Animal Law book. The author is David Favre. Every subject matter you could ever think of, I don't believe that he has excluded any animal on the face of the Earth in terms of their "rights" on this planet.Whenever I want to see how "good" a book really is, and whether it measures up to the reviews that it receives, I like to read the back index. For Kate Rishoff, reading about dogs would be a little bit too biased because I love dogs too much to be impartial to the subject matter. I sat there for a bit and I said "which animal should I look up. I then thought of my Uncle Lee who was a chicken farmer in Downsville, New York. As a little boy, my father loved his Uncle Lee...simply adored him (his mother's brother), and he used to show my father how he would candle eggs. So I said "Oh, that's it...I'll look up the rights of chickens....how much could possibly be said about the rights of chickens?" Well, I stand corrected...there is much to be known about the rights of chickens and the farming aspects of raising chickens. It said to cf (cross Reference "Poultry") so I did... WOW....WOW... Amazing.Of course, I only just received it last night in the mail at my door, so I almost can't wait to really sit and digest about Animal Law, but let me tell ya.... David Favre ....he has it all in this book. I am highly impressed...and there is no wonder that this book garnered Five Stars. Law Students gave it five stars...(not his Mom or his sister....) This book is beyond expectations and well worth the money spent on it. Please get it if you are not only engaged in this field of practice, but also if you have an interest in animal rights or advocacy. A must buy for your reference library.

I have used Professor Favre's animal law textbooks since the 1980s, and this edition, like its predecessors, presents, in clear and concise language, a comprehensive examination of animal law and its applications toward animal rights and welfare. Although the format is that of a law textbook, anyone interested in this subject will find the book easy to understand, informative, well-written, and stimulating. Prof. Favre's case selection is ideal for law students and paralegals learning the complexities of legal analysis as they apply to animal law. His "black letter" summaries of legal principles are explained clearly and carefully. Anyone interested in animal law, rights, and welfare would greatly benefit from reading this book.

Very informative reading on dog law. The author is from Michigan State University College of Law. This was helpful since I was interested in reading about laws related to dogs in the state of Michigan. Case law from other states is also included. This book is a must have for dog owners in any state!

I found this book very insightful, though a bit repetitive. It could almost be summed up by saying, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression," but Mr. De Souza goes farther than that, revealing how changing just a few words can drive any conversation in the right direction. Perhaps even more useful, he shows how the wording of a few sentences is almost certain to get a rejection, whether the "no" answer is spoken or not. The most provocative idea asserted by De Souza is that the very highest percentage of potential clients make up their minds to do business with a representative in the first 30 seconds, well before any formal presentation is made. In that 30 seconds, a client answers these questions in his mind: "Who are you?"; "Can I trust you?";"Are you interesting?"; and "Do I want to do business with you?" I recommend this book for new or current financial/insurance advisers who want to self-evaluate or polish their approaches.

I've been following Tom "Big Al" Schreiter for over 20 years now and I even had his original "rainbow" Big Al books way back then. This book is a great read for any insurance and financial advisor looking to learn better planned communication language skills. I happen to like the various phrases that were scattered throughout the book as well as the leading words to begin a question. If you want to improve your communication skills and phrases, this is a GREAT book to get started with - particularly if you are in management and want to start off new agents & advisors on the right foot!

A good read. I read it in a few hours, the same day I bought it. There are a lot of good phrases, quotes and lines to incorporate while on an appointment with a prospect. I'm always looking for ways to improve my "closing" skills and this book offers good ideas and language to accomplish this.
