Great book! Nicolas does a tremendous job in this book to de-mystify what the IoT is, he details in very understandable terms the need to digitize your enterprise.

I totally agree with Nicolas Windpassinger about his main message: Digitize or Die. Yes the choices are as black and white as that.However, and though he was not the one who coined the term IOT or the “Internet of Things” but I think it does not give justice to this revolution. In my opinion, it should be called IOL or the “Internet of Life”. And I believe that Nicolas would agree with me on that as obvious from the following quotes from his book:“The IoT will connect everyone and everything into a seamless network, which Jeremy Rifkin calls the “Intelligent Third Industrial Revolution infrastructure—the Internet of Things.” IoT will “usher in a fundamental reordering of human relationships, from hierarchical to lateral power, that will impact the way we conduct business, govern society, educate our children, and engage in civic life”. (Locations 164-168).“The IoT will connect not only things with things, people with things and people with people, but it will unleash an unprecedented flow of data. (Locations 423-424).“The physical world is being animated -- becoming smart and interconnected. Billions soon trillions of inert objects becoming intelligent and communicating devices. (Kindle Locations 3545-3546).It is a kind of second genesis where the inanimate world is being seamlessly integrated within our daily life to become inseperable from it. I facilitated a Bible Study at my work and this was a perfect 5 week class that fit in during our lunch break once a week. The video segments are relatively short compared to other video studies (they are about 40 minutes) so we could fit in the video and some discussion. This is a great series for people who are new to faith and those who are more mature Christians get a lot out of it too. Louis Giglio is a powerful speaker and everyone enjoyed the study.

This is a great study for someone looking to learn more about Jesus or be reminded about their Savior !

Can a SLE patient have a baby? Is it hereditary? What kind of protection should a patient use against the sun rays? Why is it an important alarm signal a medicated Lupus patient having high fever? If you or someone you love has lupus, I think that this book should be on your nightstand. It's on mine in the hardcopy AND I have it on my Kindle. It is THE book for lupus patients. For those stating that the book is quite technical...it does have it's moments but please don't think that you need a Bachelor's degree to understand it. I don't and I understood it just fine.I notice that when it comes to writing books of this subject matter, some books are criticized for being too easy to understand, while others are criticized that they are too technical. One could say that this book has enough information for a beginner to understand as well as information for those who are looking for more technical information.If you have lupus, this should be the first book that you buy. I don't agree with everything Dr. Wallace says on the topic but it is a great starting place and I highly recommend it.

If you wish to know about what is actually going on in your body with this disease, this is the book for you. Many other books about Lupus teach you how to live with the disease and that's good. But I wanted to know in detail what the heck was going on in my body, what to watch for, what drugs and treatments I might try and how they would affect me. This book covers all that in detail. This book might be a bit too technical for some, but I didn't have any trouble understanding it. Rhuematologists are few and far between, and really good ones are even harder to find. The author of this book is very knowledgeable and experienced. It's good to have "him" by my side, to supplement my own local Rhuematologist as I continue this journey.

I have tried several books on Lupus and Dr. Wallace is definitely the gold standard in understanding the disease. This book is the only one I use now (besides a textbook). It's really easy to understand and Dr. Wallace covers aspects of the disease other books fail to cover.

I purchased this book with many others for a dear friend of mine recently diagnosed. Therefore, I am unable to provide an informed review of the content of the book. I selected 4/5 stars for this book because I did flip through it and read a few random sections. I thought it was easy to understand and I haven't heard anything different from the recipient of the book. I would order from this seller again.

This book is one of the best out there on Lupus. Mr. Wallace disects the disease into many parts because Lupus had many frustrating facets to it. After reading this book, I am going to talk to my doctor who does not think that I have Lupus, because I don't fit neatly into a box. I can't wait to tell this doctor that my last blood test showed the anitphospholipid levels were extremely high. I noticed it, he didn't. Thank you Mr. Wallace for naming the symptoms, and the cause of it. My "gut feeling" was right.

And trust me, I've read them all. The only thing is - if you have ZERO background whatsoever on this disease, or in science in general, don't start with this book. Instead, start with one of the more general, introductory books like "living with lupus" or "lupus q and a" to just get a background because this is one heavy-duty book, laden with science that is very thorough, comprehensive, and sometimes complicated. It's amazing though, and a must-read. I'm VERY happy this exists.

I have Lupus, and have bought each new edition of the book as it has come out. It's the best book on Lupus out there. Now I have also been diagnosed with MS, if only I could find a book about MS that was as concise, organized and well written as this one, I wouldn't feel nearly as "alone" in the land of MS as I do.Thank you Dr. Wallace for such a great book that helped me navigate the uncertain road of being newly diagnosed with Lupus 15 years ago, and for the continued information you provide to all of us who have or are affected by Lupus.

About the Author

Emily Witt is a writer in New York City. She has written for The New Yorker, The New York Times, GQ, n+1, The London Review of Books, and many other places. She has degrees from Brown University, Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and Cambridge University, and was a Fulbright scholar in Mozambique. Her first book, Future Sex, was published in 2016 by Farrar, Straus & Giroux.

relatively simple content.Quite colloquially written, and the stories are appealing and engaging.However, the content is a little bit too simple and without clear points, that's what the missing star for.Good book for people that have no background knowledge and want to have a taste about Nollywood, but not for professional purpose.
